Note: To use QES, please ensure you have enough Secured Signing credits available.
QES-support available for iSign, WeSign, Video Signing, and Remote Online Notarization.
Step 1:
In your Secured Signing account, navigate to My Account > My Settings > Remote Certificate.
Step 2:
Click Add Certificate, then in the ‘Choose Your Certificate Provider’, select ZealiD.
Step 3:
Scan the QR code to download the ZealiD app on your phone, then follow the instructions in the ZealiD app to setup your account. Then in the popup in Secured Signing, click the Zealid Registration Done button.
Step 4:
In the next page of the pop-up, under ‘I am ZealiD User’, click Continue. Then scan the QR code with your ZealiD app to authenticate and connect your account.
Step 5:
Now your ZealiD account is connected, and you can configure your settings. These include ‘Sign All my signatures’ or ‘Decide for each signature’, which will make all your signatures use ZealiD when signing, or allow you to choose for each one respectively.
You can also choose if you would like to show that a signature uses QES after signing.
Login to the Secured Signing Enterprise Portal as an admin user, then go to Settings > Remote Certificate.
Enable Allow to Setup QES under either ‘Membership Default Settings’, or for an individual account under ‘Account Settings’. If it is enabled under ‘Membership Default Settings’, make sure Use Membership Default is enabled for the accounts you want to use those settings.
Now that QES is enabled in the enterprise portal, the user(s) have to login to Secured Signing to setup QES with ZealiD in their account. To do so, first go to your Secured Signing account and navigate to My Account > My Settings > Remote Certificate.
Scan the QR code to download the ZealiD app on your phone, then follow the instructions in the ZealiD app to setup your account.
Then in the popup in Secured Signing, click the Zealid Registration Done button.
